Flag Football at the 2028 Olympics

Flag football will be included in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

The competition will feature six men’s teams and six women’s

teams. Matches will be played in a five-on-five format on a smaller field, emphasizing speed, skill, and teamwork.

The tournament will take place from July 15 to July 22, 2028, at the Exposition Park Stadium, with the medal games scheduled for July 21-22.

This marks the first time flag football will be part of the Olympic program, reflecting the sport’s growing popularity around the world.
