The Lisbowl was designed to allow your team to make the most out of the 2 intense days of exciting competition. The tournament will be divided into:

The Lisbowl Festival 2026 will be played in accordance with IFAF rules, with the following adaptations specific to the tournament format:
1. GAME FORMAT
1.1 Group Stage and Classification Games

Two halves of 16 minutes each

1.2 Semi-finals

Two halves of 16 minutes each

Last 2 minutes of each half in stopped clock

Each team has 2 timeouts per half

2. GENERAL RULES

Standard official procedures apply, including:

2.4 Last Play
• Applicable in all regular season games, where the clock runs continuously.
• When the game clock reaches 0:00, the referee announces “last play”.
• The ongoing play will be the final play of the game.
• The game only ends after that play has been completed.
